Residents of the upper Aberdeen road area were startled this morning hv two loud explosions from the brewery premises. Inquiries elicited the inlnnnafion that a gang of men were engaged in breaking up obsolete machinery for scrap, and had used explosives to reduce the larger sections to convenient sizes.
