N.Z. TOUR- PLANNED Steps are being taken by the Primary Producers’ Union of Australia to promote a visit- of its members to New Zealand in November. Advice received from tin’ headquarters of (lie. union in Sydney liv the Dominion secretary of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, .Mr, A. P. O’Shea, slates that it is hoped to organise a party of approximately 50 members. The party, which will include women, will lie predominantly interested in ilairy-liirmiiig and pig production, and maize and potato-growing will also lie of iulcrest. It i.s proposed to confine the, tour to the North Island dairying districts. It is one of the objects of the Primary Producers’ Union to strengthen thy bonds of co-operation between the dairy-farm-ers of Australia and those of the Dominion.
