RUATORIA CLUB
TWO TEAMS TO BE FORMED An enthusiastic meeting of intending players and others interested in the Ruatoria Basketball Club was held in •the Maniitahi 'School, Ruatoria, last Thursday afternoon. The object of the meeting' was to make arrangements to form two teams for •competition, namely Old Girls and City. The following committee was elected to go into the matter-.—Misses D. Hickey, P. Pitt, H. Haig, M. Whiu, and Mrs! F. Hills.
It is anticipated that with the excellent material available, their energies will result in some lively games this season.
During the meeting Miss H. Haig served a dainty afternoon tea. Among those present were Misses A. Russell, P. Pitt, It. Hauraki, D. Hickey, I. Srnythe and H. Haig; Alesdames J. M. Meffan, F. Hills and J. Whiu.
