BY-ELECTION PENDING
SEATS IN COMMONS TOTAL OF TEN (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 1 p.m. RUGBY, May 28. In addition to the seven by-elections now pending, three seats in the House of Commons will become vacant owing to the elevation to the House of Lords of members of Parliament announced in to-day's honours list. The sen Is are those lit present held by Mr. Stanley Baldwin in the Bowdley Division, Worcestershire, Sir John Davidson, the Nationalist Conservative in the Hemel Hempsted Division, Hertfordshire, and iSlr. Walter Runciman, for St. Ives Division, Cornwall.
