Dr. W. Reeve, of Havelock North, and formerly of Gisborne, has been appointed resident medical officer at, the Hastings Fallen Soldiers 1 Memorial Hospital. Since the inception of the institution the medical service has been carried on by the members, oil the honorary medical stuff, whose splendid services have been frequently given at a sacrifice and an inconvenience.
