NEW DUTIES PLANNED
BADIO ANNOUNCER
(Reed. May 2!), 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 28. With further reference to the apology by the Broadcasting Corporation for tho fade-out of the description of the fleet illumination, which was to have been given at Spithead last Friday night by Lieut-Commander T. Woodrooffe, it is explained that Lieut.-Commander Woodrooffe has been transferred to duties which, for the time, will not involve speaking into the microphone.
The Daily Telegraph understands that Lieut.-Commander Woodrooffe will devote himself to the organisation of outside broadcasts and will ultimately give running commentaries.
