G OLD WORTH MILLIONS
NEW ALASKA STRIKE JUNEAU, April IC. Five claims estimated to be worth £4.000,000 —already have been staked but in the Goodness Bay area, the scene of Alaska’s latest gold and platinum strike, Mr. .T. ,W. Felder, .mining operator, said to-day. A three-mile stretch in the vicinity lias not yet been surveyed, but it lias every indication of containing valuable ore, he said. A new rush to the area as soon as river transportation gets under way, was predicted by Sir. Felder.
