GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE
OPENING OF SPAN NAZI FLAGS DISLIKED (Elnc. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) SAN FRANCISCO, May 28. The suspension bridge over San Francisco's Golden Onto was formally opened to-day. The span was patrolled by 200 police to prevent attempts to commit suicide. The Maritime Association boycotted the event as a protest against the inclusion of Nazi flags in the decorations. Earlier in the week n swastika wns torn down in Market street. Germany lodged an oflieial protest and an apology was- tendered.
