FIRE AT NUHAKA
WH ARE DESTROYE D (Special to the Herald.) NUfTAKA, this day. • A ffrfi occurred on Mr. l\ J. Brewster's property at Tahaenui on Tuesday night. Mrs. Brewster had retired for the night, lint later on waking up discovered that a whare, which was occupied by a Maori employee, was in flames and almost burnt to the ground. Mrs. Brewster was very perturbed, as it was thought that the Maori lad had perished, but fortunately it was discovered later, that he had spent the night at a neighbouring farm.
