TUOI GOLF COMPETITION KEIHA AND MARSHALL WIN AGAIN. The Tuoi Town Clock match, played among the honorary green-keepers ot tho Tunuiganui Golf Club, was won this week for the fourth time by Jf. Keiha and W. Marshall. The results were as follow: — First round. —T. T. Rangi and P. Awatere beat. L. Eade and D. 11. Albert, 8 up; K. Keiha and W. Marshall beat P. Tureia and ,1. Collier, 2 up; R. W. Halbert and B. Halbert beat G. Butler and M. Halbert, 2 up; P. Kaua and W. E. Bullivant beat K. Kerekcre and R. Rhbb, -1 up. Second round. —Keiha and Marshall beat Rangi and Awatere, 2 up; Kaua and Bullivant beat Halbert aud Halbert, 1 up. Final. —Keiha and. Marshall beat, Kaua and Bullivant, 8 and ti. The draw for the next series is as follows:—L. Eade and D. Halbert v. K. Kerekere and R. Robb; P. Tureia and J. Collier v. T. T. Rangi and P. Awatere; R. Keiha and W. Marshall v. P. W. Halbert and B. MID-WEEK GOLF RESULTS
INTER-CLUB MATCHES VISIT FROM WAIKOHU The women members of the Turanganui Golf Club played a handicap tournament. during the week at tho Tuoi links and in the final of the series Mrs. T. Keelan (14) beat Mrs'. G. M. Chrisp (8), three and one. A bogey handicap was played by other members and Mrs. it. W. Halbert’s card, three up, was the winning! one.
A visit will bo paid the club by a parly from tho Waikohu club on Saturday and an inter-club match in the men and women’s section will be played. A four-ball best ball will be played in the afternoon and members will find a list ol the teams posted at the club-house. Turangunui players must he on the links at 9.30 a.m.
