LORRY DRIVERS' HOURS

A mnnboT of serious accidents have ocurred because lorrv drivers have been working such long flours that they are not. as vigilant as they should be, said the magistrate, Mr. i'.. D. Mosley, in the Police Court to-day when what was slated to he the first prosecution of the kind was before him, one of permitting an employee to drive more than 11 hours in 'any 24. It was brought by the Main Highways Board against Walter John Lankey, of Dannevirke.
