LIVER AS A FOOD

TO-DAY liver is considered a neeessary food as it has such wonderful qualities as a body-builder both for children and adults. Doctors have proved that it has the required properties for the cure and prevention of anaemia. With the various new methods of preparing and serving it, liver is not the uninteresting dish of a few years ago: The one essential factor with liver is to make sure it is quite fresh and not over-cooked. The following are a few ways of serving this valuable dish. LIVER AND BACON Bacon I lb. Liver 1 lb. Pour boiling water over the liver and let it stand for a few minutes. Drain and wipe well.
