A new system of departmental control for the Post Office Havings Bank is foreshadowed in the reorganisation ol two Auckland suburban offices of the bank. Although no official comment is available, it is understood that the new developments will lead gradually to the formation of a separate State department to control the operations of the. bank, at least in the main centres of the Dominion.
