CONSTRUCTION WORK
GISBORNE-NAPIER LINE STAR? MADE AT MURIWAI Construction work on the railway line has definitely commenced at Muriwai. A number of men are engaged at the rear of the Muriwai Hotel, where there is much spoil to be moved. At this point the road, which now passes on the northern side of the hotel, and the railway are to follow*!) route which will pass the southern side of the building. This change will eliminate a dangerous corner In the pa and also divert road traffic from the pa.
