GOLDEN DAGGER
ARABIAN EMIR'S PRESENT
TRIBUTE TO KING & QUEEN
JEDDAII, April 17.
When Emir Sand, heir apparent ot Saudi Arabia, goes' to London for the Coronation, lie will take with liirn a golden dagger studded with precious stones as a present from his father to King George VI. The golden dagger has been made by an Arabian craftsman attached to the Arabian court. On the hilt are carved sacred Arabic words meaning "Long lifeto the King and Queen of England, from Ibn Saud."
Until its presentation the Emir will deposit the dagger in a most secure place. If it is. lost the prince believes lie will meet with misfortune.
The Emir will himself present it at the palace after the Coronation.
