A resident of Toko, Stratford, for over 30 years, Mrs. Bridget Jane Bretherton, died recently at the age of 78 years. Mrs. Bretherton was born in Limerick, Ireland, and was married at Waverley. Nearly three years ago Mr. and Mrs. Bretherton celebrated their golden wedding. Before settling at Toko they farmed in South Taranaki and in the Hawke’s Bay and Wanganui districts. The deceased was the mother of Mr. John Bretherton. Wairoa.
