TWO PERSONS WOUNDED POLICE SEEK YOUNG MAN BRISBANE, Feb. !». Miss If. Ballister, 21, was wounded in the left shoulder, and Mr. Drake, a traveller, of: Brisbane, was shot through the stomach at Milmerran tonight, by a young man in a motor car. Police and detectives from Toowoomba are searching for the armed man, who had said, “I am going to shoot another man yet.” Drake and Miss Ballister were eonversing on the footpath in front of the Imperial Hotel, Milmerran, when vl man in a. single-seater car drove up. Fie said to Miss Ballister, “Get into the ear, J. am going to shoot .you.” Drake told him not. to be silly. The man then tired a, shot; at Drake, wlricn pierced his stomach, tho bullet emerging on tho other side and passing through hi.s hand. Miss Ballister ran away, and a shot was tired at her, the bullet striking her under the left shoulder.

The man then drove off to the residence of Mrs. Ballister, senior. When she satv him with a gun she asked what he was doing. He replied that he was going to shoot another man. The suspect was still at large late tonight.
