PACIFIC FLIGHT PLAN
CALIFORNIA-AUSTRALIA FAMOUS WOMAN PILOT NEW YORK, Feb. 11. Mrs. Amelia Earhart-Putnnm lias informed the Australian Associated Press that she will fly to .Australia, departing early in March from Oakland. Bhc will touch at Honolulu, and proceed thence via Howland Island, Lao and New Guinea to Port Darwin. ,Shc plans to turn back immediately and proceed along the usual Imperial Airways route to India. From there she is to fly to Dakar (Africa), Natal (Brazil), Mexico and Miami. Captain Manning, veteran merchant marine oflice'r, will act as navigator across the Pacific only and will leave tier when the plane reaches Australia.
