NINIO M ()NTHS' FIG UR HS (Herald Correspondent:) The revenue of the Waivoa Hospital Board for the nine months ended December 31 last came to £8455, of which the levies totalled £3247 in round figures,' and subsidies .€3382, whilst the patients.' fees come to £1671, The main items of expenditure were:— Hospital maintenance, £4830; payments to other boards for patients, £1248: outdoor relief and free services, £IOO4, and, with the payments to other boards (some of which is recoverable), £2252 for 'services to the people. The credit balance was £535 at the end of December.
The secretary's analyses of the patients' payments was : —Friendly Societies. £516 ss; Ivahungunu Medical Association, £lO4 3s lOd; P.W.D. (old) £B9 Us4d; P.W.D. (new), three months. £l4B 18s; ordinary collections, £790 17s lid; out-patients, £4 Is 6d; out-pati-ents X-rays, £4 4s; other, hospitals, £79 Is lid; district nurse, Frasertown, £7 13s Sil; district nurse, Nuhaka, £5 10s; district midwife, £sl 6s 6d; bad debts recovered, £69 lis 6d; total, £1671 5s
