Winter Hosiery
pHICAGO women have revived the old home-spun fashion of wearing wool stockings. Through ninny a winter they suffered cold ankles rather than sacrifice t.rimness to bulky warmth, but the modern woollens, unlike their predecessors, are considered by the early exponents of the vogue to pay propei tribute to .the ankles.
The new winter hosiery displays entice milady with thin, well-shaped ribbed woollen stockings intended to be worn with street wool dresses and suits. Colours are dark blue, wine, deep green and beige. There are knitted styles and giddy patterns for active sports.
