Under the heading. “Wrong Way to Celebrate Coronation,” the Daily Herald points out, that the holiday on May 12 will mean that workers who are paid by the day, hour, or piece, will lose a day s pay. .... It says, in an editorial, t lint, in many cases, a cut of one-sixth in the week’s income would mean disaster lo lainilv budgeting. The day must not he marred bv enforced cuts.
