During ihe progress of her flight from England to Australia and New Zealand, the New Zealander, Miss Jean Batten, arrived at Akyab at 5.10 p.m. local time. She is resting for the night and is resuming the flight at ?i.'M) a.m. to-morr'ow. Miss Patten had departed from Allahabad at 5.5 a.m. She arrived at Allahabad from Karachi a day ahead of Broadbent's record time. If she reaches Rangoon on schedule, she will have two clear days to complete the remaining 2500 miles and gain Hie_,record. -- -
