THE NEW CONSTITUTION ADVICE TO CONGRESS MADRAS. Oct. 8. "The congress is going to do its utmost to wreck, destroy and uproot the new constitution," declared Pandit Jawaliarlal Nehru, president of the Indian National Congress, speaking at a. public meeting. It would be fatal for Congressmen to accept office., he said. "Let no Congressman talk anything even remotely resembling' co-operation in the working of the new act," he added.
