REQUESTS IN SAMOA
NELSON AS ADVISER CHINESE DEPORTATIONS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—Unitud Tress Assn.) APIA, Oct. C). Faipules in the Fono submitted two remits to-day.
The first proposal was that Malictott and Tuimalealiit'auo .should be "fantua," which means advisers, and that Mr. O. F. kelson be a "faatonu," which means director or adviser, in rekition.s between the mandated Administration, and the Samoans, these three together to attend and take part in the Foiio of Faipules.
The .second remit was that all Chinese be sent away from Samoa. The Foiio adjourned while these remits were forwarded by radio to the Prime Minister in Wellington. It is awaiting his reply.
