"The publication of the name in a caso Such as this is the only effecfive punishment," said Mr. J. .Miller, S.M., in tho. Napier Police Court when an application was made for the suppression of tho name of a domestic who was charged with the theft of gobds valued at £ls 14s 6d from Audry Cracroft Newcombe. "Under the circumstances suppression of the name cannot bo granted in this case," tho magistrate added.
