HORSE HONOURED

WOUNDED IN THE WAR LONDON, Aug. &lV One of thO'giiesffl of honour of the Ist (the Royal) Dragoon's Old Comrades' reunion at Sliorricliffo Camp, near Folkestone, next week-end will be a horse. Captain A. D. Wintle saw the animal in a meadow about two miles from herd and recognised her as Windy, a roan mare which had served in Franco during the war and which was in his squadron at Aldershof in 1923.

Windy came from the Argentine in 1915 and was wounded during the war.
