CHRISTCHURCH WEDDING

FORMAN—SHAW A very pretty wedding of inferest to Gisborne people, pailictilruly in hockey circles, was celebrated recently at St. John's Church, Latimer Square, Chrjstijhurch, between Vera, only daughter o! Thu church had been prettily decorated with spring llowers by friends of the bride, and the ceremony was conducted by fhc Rev. Mr. MeWilliams. The bride, who was given away by her grandfather, Mr. I£. Crook, wore a charming pink laec dress over a pink satin foundation, the lace being cut on slim lines and falling into a train at the. hack. The sleeves were full acqordiau pleated pink georgette, and two frills of pink georgette formed flie collar. .\ .pink tulle veil fell over lier face from a little lace cap. She wore silver shoes and carried a lovely bouquet oT lilies and (recsias.

Mrs. Percy Hawcs was the matron of honour. She wovr a dainty frock of blue georgette, with full laeo sleeves. ;< black toque and gold shoes.' She carried a bouquet of pink flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss Margery Carroll, wore a pretty blue taffeta frock with a toque to match, Ince gloves and gold shoes. The bouquet was -of lemon and blue flowers. Little Lois Crook, the bride's, niece, was tile flower, girl, and won* ;i cream erepc-de-chine frock with pink flowers sewn on to jf full skirl.
