WAIROA CLUB’S REPORT
(Herald Correspondent.)
The report to lie presented to the annual meeting of the Wairoa Tennis Club this week will show a profit of £22 11s lOd on the .year’s operations.
From the players’ point of view the last season was a very bail one owing to die broken weather. Through the efforts of the lady members in providing afternoon tea over £8 10s had been received.
The membership register showed a marked increase, from 55 to 101. It is anticipated that the working costs will be increased considerably.
