A COMPLETE AGREEMENT

The Arbitration Court in Greymouth on Monday considered an application by the Grey Valley and Bullet* .Deputies and Underviewers’ Association for a 40-hour week.
Mr. T. O. Bishop, for the employers, announced that as a result- of -conferences, a complete / agreement had been reached. The hours were to be 40 a week, with no restriction of work required on Saturdays or Sundays for mine examinations, in connection with pumping and the- control of fives, and for work that could only bo done when Hie mine was closed, a proviso being made that equivalent, time should be allowed off within a month.
