A renewal of municipal bus licenses for all routes in Gisborne lias been granted by the No. 1 Transport Licensing Authority, alterations applied for also being granted. The term of the license is for three years. This information was reported to the Borough Council last night by the bus manager, Air. K. G. Ball, who also stated that the revenue per mile for the fortnight ended September 27 totalled £284 19s sd, an average of 11.63 d per mile over a total running of 5929 miles, Passengers carried totalled 25,976.
