NEW YORK, Aug. 10.
A plot to rob a bank by digging a tunnel into the vaults was discovered at Flint, Michigan, to-day, because the tunriellcr suspected his wife of having a good time during the nights he spent digging. Floyd Nunn, a 23-year-old giant, got his idea from a crime story. For three months lie dug liis tunnel every night, until he was within 30ft. of the the bank's walls.
One night Nunn went home, happened to examine the speedometer of his ear, and found that it had been driven 4000 miles while lie bad been working. He accused bis wife of being Unfaithful to him while lie was underground. They quarrelled and separated —and in a lit of anger Nunn confessed his plot to the police.
