Given a good supply ot fresh eggs, nothing need daunt the resourceful housewife, for the egg can rise to any occasion, and lie made to do duty loi breakfast, lunch, tea or supper, or any other odd or unexpected emergency meal which may happen to crop up. Here are a. few recipes which will servo for breakfast ,or lunch. SCOTCH EGGS. Hanl-hoiled Eggs . . • • 0 Sausages or Sausage Meat . . lib. Breadcrumbs , Dripping. 1 raw Egg. Skin the sausages and divide them into equal portions. Snell tne eggs, cover with sausage meat, coat nun egg and dried breadcrumbs and try in hot fat. Drain well and cut in halves.
