SAWMILLER SUCCUMBS
SPLINTERING OF TIMBER BODY PEN ETRATED (Per Pres Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last night. Severe bodily injuries which proved fatal this evening were received on Monday aftornmn by Ernest Hayward Morris, 50,sawmiller, of Oxford. Some wood vdiieh lie was cutting with a power say flew up. One part broke his ribs which penetrated a lung and the dher part broke his breast hone and penetrated his windpipe. A specialist was called from Christchurch and tlioigh the lung injury was remedied he windpipe injury proved fatal. Ih was proprietor of the mill where tic accident occurred.
