STORE VALUES DECLINE GOOD BEEF .MARKET The Cattle Fair conducted by the Poverty Bay Stockbrokers’ Association at the Matuwhero sa.leyards to-day attracted a moderate attendance of the public. In the absence of outside buyers the store market, declined considerably,' but there was a good demand for fat cattle, STORE CATTLE There was a full yarding of cattle in the store section, with a large proportion of dairy types. The general condition of tin* entry was below that of the previous fair. Outside compete tion was almost non-existent, and most of the buyers who usually attend from other districts were not present. The sale lacked animation and values
showed a considerable decline, a large part of the entry being passed in. Prices:—
