WELLINGTON HOSPITAL
DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT (Per Pross Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. At a special meeting of the Wellington Hospital Board to-day, the resignation of Dr. IT. G. Robertson who was recently appointed assistant superintendent, medical, was received. The resignation was accepted, and the board unanimously resolved to appoint Dr. J. Cairney, Lower Hiitt, to the position, subject to the approval of the Minister of Health. Dr. Robertson’s resignation was caused through illness in his family apd tho fart that lie was- unable to obtain a suitable house.
