POSITION IN EUROPE FRENCH MOVE HINTED (British Official Wireless.) Reed. noon. RUGBY, Oct. 2. The French Prime Minister, M. Leon Blum, arrived in Geneva to-day and began a series of private talks at a luncheon which ho gave in honour of the British Foreign Secretary, Mr. Anthony Eden. Paris press reports anticipate that as a result of the visit French initiative in favour of setting, up a European economic and financial committee, along the lines suggested by the late M. Briand, will take active form.
