The Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club will hold the presentation of club trophies and certilieat.es won last season at the annual meeting, which will he held in the club rooms at 8 p.m. next Tuesday. Competitors are specially requested In he present.
At the 1936 Gisborne Show a new departure relating to exhibits suitable for export will bo adopted in the tat lamb, bneonor and porker pig classes. In the past, exhibitors, have nominated the export animals from various classes and consequently it was not possible to compare the exhibits on the grounds and follow them to the freezing works and see how they “hung up." 'this year the same exhibits will hr judged on the bool at the Show, on the hooks at the works when dressed for freezing, and again in England, completing a very interesting and valuable competition, tine entry tee covers all three judgings and first, second, and third prize-money will he provided for each. .Entries for the Show close on Saturday next, and exhibitors are requested to facilitate the work of the office by furnishing their entries as early ns. possible.
