LOSES RACE WITH TIDE OVERTAKEN & DROWNED PARIS, Aug. 18. Two persons were drowned off Froincntines, in the Bay of Biscay, after a terrible race between a car and the incoming tide. M. Charbonnier, a notary, decided to cross over the sands at low tide from the island 'of Noirmoutier to Fromentines.
