Wedding Bells

Neslxausen —Baker Holy Trinity Church, Derby street, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on tlio evening of Thursday, September 10, when Minnie Esina, eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Baker, T.olaga Bay, was married to Wilford Henry Neshauson, of Otorohanga. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. I'. C. Aires, and Mr. \V. Kolia presided at the organ. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her uncle, Mr. P. G. Baker, made a charming picture in her wedding gown of heavy dull white satin beau to, cut on slender lines, the skirt falling to .form a train. Tiny silver buttons adorned the back of the bodice, the sleeves falling in a cowl to the elbow, and fitting to tin; wrist. The duties of best man were capably carried out by Mr. Ted Lincoln.

After the ceremony a reception was held at Le Grand Cafe, where Mrs. G. G. Baker, wearing a very smart ensemble of black, worn with a chic hat to match, welcomed the guests. A delicious breakfast, was served from tables decorated with flowers to tone with the bridal gowns. Pride of place was given to the beautiful white and silver wedding cake. The duties of toast-master were jointly carried out by the Rev. R. ('. Aires and Mr. B. Roscoe, Auckland. Later the guests were entertained at a dance and musical items, the music being supplied by an orchestra of three.

The happy couple left later on their honeymoon tour of the north, the bride travelling in a smart fawn costume, worn with a pale pink Russian blouse. They were the recipients of many beautiful and useful gifts.
