ART EXHIBITION
An ■exhibition of interest io all lovers of art will bo held next work in Messrs. Potties’ lounge from 2 p.m. on. Thursday until noon on Saturday. The picturesaro by Miss C. Watkins, and are. of typically New Zealand subjects. Miss Watkins lias successfully exhibited in Wellington, Dunedin, Masforton and. Auckland. She is essentially a colourist, and depicts truthfully the clear atmosphere so characteristic of the colony. The pictures cover a wide variety of ■subjects from different, parts of the island, some- being of special historical interest. Her flower and garden studies are also deservedly popular. Another interesting feature Of the exhibition is the native flower section, which is singularly comprehensive.
