GIANT BOAR KILLED

An "outlaw" boar which had been the lerror of llie district for many years, and a. menace to both sheep and hunters, was killed hv two sportsmen, Messrs. [<„ 11. Mouli and K. M. Me.uh, who have relumed to New Plymouth after a hunting trip about 18 miles up the Wanganu, The hoar, which the html ere followed for two davs without success, was described as 'being as big as a. yearling cow, and continued to struggle alter five bullets had struck vital places. Its skin was an inch and a half thick all over the body, and no less than eight J.Z bullets were found in the pell, as well as numerous shotgun pellets. The Meuli brothers were out tor four days and secured 32 pigs and four deer. Two of (ho pigs were notorious lamb killers.
