ANGLING IN DOMINION
ISSUE OF LICENSES REGULATIONS ISSUED (Per Pross Association.) ■ WELLINGTON, last night. The fresh water fisheries regulations, 193(5, giving effect to the Fisheries Amendment Act, 1936, were published to-night,' The regulations make provision for the issue of licenses, and define places where an acclimatisation society should pay intoHhe consolidated fund a proportion of one-tenth of the aggregate fees chargeable for licenses issued by the society in respect of any period commencing after the passing of Fisheries Act, 1936. The regulations also cover the liabilities of persons fishing, unlawful possession, and dealing in freshwater the pollution of waters, and penalties for breaches of the regulations, appended to which is a schedule of the license fees to bo charged throughout the Dominion.
