ENGINE PARTLY DERAILED WHEELS REGAIN TRACK LONDON, Sept. 22. Something approaching a miracle saved the Birmingham-Leicester express from disaster. It was travelling at 50 miles an hour when the leading driving wheels of the engine left, tho rails, splintering the sleepers. The. train swept th rough Croft .station swaying alarmingly and then, after half a mile, to everyone's amazement the wheels regained the track and the train finished the journey without casualty.
