HUSBAND'S SUDDEN DEATH

NEW YORK, Aug. 5. A millionairess, Mrs. Katrina Bradford, a pretty 27-year-old society woman, who will one day control two American fortunes, was to-day detained pending police investigation into the sudden death of her husband.

Her husband, John .Bradford, 31-ycar-old son of a former president, of the Illinois Bank, was found deail in liis apartment in fashionable Pasadena. Neighbours, hearing hysterical screams, discovered tlio tragedy and told the police, who arrested Mrs, Bradford on technical charges of disturbing the" peace until they have finished their inquiries.
