A .three-year-old child, living with her parents in an SOO-ycar-old cottage at Horsforth, Leeds, was operated on in Leeds Infirmary Inst nigh; after being bitten by a rat. *Thc girl, Patricia Fox, war. bitten in the neck while she was asleep in her cot in a room in which her two sister.s, aged eleven and nine, also slept.
