AVONDALE RACING GUINEAS TO GALLIO QUEEN NONA WINS PLATE PRESIDENT'S TO TRIUNE (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. The Avondale Jockey Club's spring meeting concluded to-day in showery weather. There was a good attendance. The track was heavier than on the first dav. The totalisator investments were £20,073 against 18,483 on the second day of last year. The total for the meeting was £5i,444 10s, an increase of £8857. In the rinmpton Handicap, Tradesman quickly went to the front, followed b.v King ' Musk, Sinking Fund, Lagoon, Jonathan and Horowhenua. At the hallmile, the order was Tradesman, King Musk, Lagoon, Sinking Fund, Horowhenua, Silver Briar, Delrain, and Con Fuoco. Tradesman still led at the turn, with Lagoon, Silver Briar, and King Musk close up. Lagoon''went''through fast to win by one and 'a quarter lengths from King Musk, with Horowhenua H lengths a.vvay, and Tradesman fourth. Time, 2.9 1-5.
