GOLDEN PROMISE’S CUP WIN FOR PALATINATE MELBOURNE, Sept, 19. At the Mentone races the New Zealandbred Golden Promise brilliantly won the Cup, while Palatinate, a former New Zealander, finished strongly to win the first division of the Dandenong Welter.
