Devine, Wells and Lambonrne were the pick of the visitors’ forwards, who, generally speaking, lacked cohesion. Pollock, at fullhack, was not nearly so impressive as Taylor, hut strengthened tho attack when ho came, in to second five-eighth. Griffiths, who hurt a leg, took Pollock’s position.
