A special meeting of the East Waikato Rabbit Hoard reduced the rate for 193637 by id to l£d an acre. The revenue for the past ratine year, with subsidies and arrears, was £2037, and the accumulated surplus approximately £SOO. Although the Government has promised to increase the rate of subsidy from 95 to 100 per cent, the rate reduction will involve an estimated drop in revenue of £525.
