ST. ANDREW'S, WAIROA CONGREGATION MEETS (Herald Corre.snoiHU'iu.) At- the annual congregational meeting held in .St. Andrew's .L'resbyterian Sunday school hall, Wairoa, on Wednesday night llie.e was a good attendance, the moderator, the Rev. X. 11. Finch, being in the chair, and Mr. 11. W. tiaig, home missioner at Putorino; also being present, the meeting opened with a scripture reading and pinycr. Apologies were noted on behalf of Messrs. B. Smith and vV. Clark. The reports on the church activities were read by the leaders of the different sections, who moved their adoption, as follows:'— Balance sheet, the treasurer, Mr. K. 11. Yallance. who showed the church finances to be in a heller position than last, year: the session, .Mr. A. .J. Huston : Sunday school. Mr. A. KdlillgKm: North Clyde school, -Mr. C. A. Savill; cradle roll. Mr. A. .1. Huston, for the ausent leader: Y.W.8.C., Miss 'N. t'ornfoilh; V.M.8.C., -Mr. Butcher; choirs. Miss'N. Croker; P.W.M.U., Mrs. V,. Simpson, lor Mrs. Alexander; Ladies' Juild, -Mrs. Hodgson, and manager's report. Mr. C. A. Savill. High tributes were'paid to the workers, and the reports .vere adopted. Power was given by the congregation o dispose of the Frasertown manse property, ami it- was decided to form a car ourchase fund, whilst the laying on of 'water to the North Clyde Sunday School was left in the hands of the managers. < (dicers elected were Messrs. W. Smith, C. .]. Mackay, jun., and T. Browne. The moderator welcomed .Mr. Haig. and said he was pleased fo he present for the fourth (hue. lie was very interested in the reports, especially that of the I'.W.M-C. 'l' l ' l ' efforts of the juvenile choir on Jubilee Sunday reflected credit ■>n all concerned. To-day the cry of the church universal was enthusiasm, so as to bring in the Kingdom of Clod, but they should never forget that back of the work and workers was prayer.

Voles of thanks were passed fo the morning organist. Mr. Huston, the flower ladies, the caretakers and the ladies for he bountiful supper.
